MWR Team Response: Thank you for your comment. We agree that we should have our trips/tours available online. Due to the staff shortage, we have been working with our Regional NAF IT team to help us formulate an online purchase option. We hope this will be ready by October by doing some tests with our most popular tour, the shopping tour we do at minimum once a month. The shopping tour is so popular that the community gets a little upset when we don't offer or have to cancel the tour. So, the team has continued adding more locations for customers to check out all the options in places other than Singapore. In the online system, we are also looking at options for sign-ups for fitness events. We would like to offer more items through our online option. If there is an employee issue, please contact the Fleet & Family Readiness Director, Ms. Momoyo Harris. We will be addressing the program comments from the survey.

Thank you for your feedback, and we do apologize for the inconvenience regarding the unavailability of Resort World Sentosa tickets during your recent visit. The S.E.A. Aquarium has temporarily closed for renovations as of 1 May 2025 and Universal Studios Singapore and the Adventure Cove Waterpark tickets are both subject to black-out dates. Unfortunately, as only a limited number of tickets are made available to us, we are not always able to sell tickets for requested dates on short notice.
Additionally, due in part to the federal hiring freeze, we are currently understaffed but are hoping to have additional staff come onboard soon. Community Recreation is closed on Mondays, National Holidays, U.S. Federal Holidays, and at other times as necessary due to these staffing issues. We understand that limited hours of availability can make it difficult to provide the customer service level we wish to achieve and are doing our best to address these shortages. Once again, we apologize for this inconvenience.
To make the community more aware of current ticket availability we have updated our website, posted the latest information about the temporarily closing to our social media accounts, and will address the concern in our next newsletter.
