JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the N923 Division of the Fleet Readiness (FR) Department, Navy Region Center Singapore. The incumbent of this position performs duties independently at the front counter in accordance with prescribed practices and general directions at Terror Club.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for completing sales transactions, operating a cash register, accounting for sales receipts, and providing customer service. Perform all types of cash register transactions (cash, charge, check, etc.) in a procedurally correct manner. Maintains change fund and accounts for sales. Completes daily activity report (DAR) at the end of assigned shift. Communicates effectively and knowledgably with customers in regards to products being sold. Assures that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned. Clean other work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas. Accepts food orders from patrons and may serve alcoholic beverages. Spot checks the guest checks to insure that the information recorded is correct. Follow all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must have skill and knowledge to perform tasks involving several procedures and be able to concentrate on work assignments despite interruptions and distractions. Must have the ability to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate a cash register or point of sale system, run a snack bar. A working knowledge of sanitation standards is required as well as knowledge of procedures to prevent contamination. Must know basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Satisfactorily complete all background checks to include National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).

When required, must be able to work at night, weekend and/or holiday.

Some positions have special requirements. Selection may be tentative pending the completion of the satisfactory employment reference checks and receipt of proof of education (where applicable). Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period. Participation in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer is required.
