Missoula Childrens' Theatre

The first week of August is Missoula Childrens' Theatre week! Kids ages 5 (who have completed KG2) - grade 12 are invited to audition for Robin Hood on Monday, August 4. Depending on the part(s) for which they are chosen, rehearsals will run Tuesday - Friday with the final performance open to the community on Friday, August 8 at 1600. This camp is an AMAZING (and free!) opportunity for kids to experience theatre and spend time with their peers. Mark your calendars to join us Friday, August 22 for the end-of-summer bash at the Terror Club! We will have fun all-ages games and activities and the Terror Club chefs will be firing up some Mongolian Barbecue. Fitness will host a doubles singe-elimination volleyball tournament, so find a partner and register your team at the Fleet Fitness Center to join the competition! This event is free and open to all authorized patrons.

The first fall meeting of 4H will be Friday, August 15 at CYP, 488 Pakistan Rd. Officers will be elected at this meeting. New to 4H? Come join us for a meeting and sample a 4H club activity for free!

*Hay Dairies goat trip is tomorrow!
*Thursday, August 7 is the BGCA Youth of the Year Open House at CYP - 488 Pakistan Road for teens ages 14-18. The event runs from 1700 - 1900 and will feature past Youth of the Year winners, tips on leadership and speakers, and ways you could be the next Youth of the Year!
*CYP will be hosting Singapore New Comers' Teen Edition at the Terror Club on Saturday, August 16 from 1100 - 1400. Stop by and say hello, meet some new friends, and find out all about life and school in Singapore!

Fleet Fitness Center Update
|

As we near the goal line in the final phase of the Fleet Fitness Center renovation project, the hot gym area will be closed from 19 July until an anticipated reopening on 25 August. The cold gym will remain open as normal during this time. If you have any questions, please contact the Fitness Director Joshua Paris at Joshua.t.paris.naf@us.navy.mil. Thank you for your patience as we work hard to make this place better.
Fitness classes and personal training are still available and we have a wide lineup of classes for all age groups! Please stay tuned for information on the next round of kids' swim classes coming soon. Information on registration will be posted to our website and social media once it is available.

If you are PCSing to Singapore--or sponsoring someone who is--please be sure to call into the Sponsorship on Demand virtual call via Teams to hear from SAC representatives about the PCS process. This is a great way to help prepare for your move and have all of your questions answered before arrival.
